PawsID can be read in two easy ways:

Hold your phone close to the PawsID to read the information automatically.

  • Android:
    Make sure NFC is turned on in your phone (Settings → Connections / Connected devices → NFC).
    Hold the back or middle part of your phone against the PawsID and hold it there for a second.

  • iPhone:
    NFC works automatically, so you do not need to turn it on.
    Hold the top part of your phone (near the camera) against the PawsID and wait a moment for your phone to read the info.

2. Scan with a QR Code

  1. Open your phone’s camera or a QR code scanning app.

  2. Point your camera at the QR code on the PawsID.

  3. Tap the link that pops up on your screen.
